    Description

    Indian Motocycle embossed matchbox holder from early 1900s. Front has Indian logo with Hendee Manufacturing Co., Springfield, Mass. USA. Rear advertises "Highest Honors" in the 1904 St. Louis Exposition and the 1916 San Francisco Exposition. The metal is bronze colored with traces of original brass finish. There is a narrow 1/4 inch area of light corrosion along the rear corner edge. Measurements are 2 5/16" x 1 1/2 x 3/4.
