Here’s another New York era Bach Stradivarius Bb Trumpet we have for sale! This one is from 1950 (S/N 97xx), featuring a .453” M bore. The bell and leadpipe are both unmarked, but from the Bach shop card generously provided by Conn-Selmer, we know now that it is a 7 leadpipe and a 37 bell! The trumpet is in gorgeous original shape, with some very minor lacquer wear as well as some solder work from previous repairs. The original lacquer is slowly flaking off the trumpet, bring it was applied on over 70 years ago! This is a real time capsule otherwise! No major damage or repairs, and the valves are working flawlessly with plenty of compression! The horn plays just as beautiful as it looks! The medium bore eases the amount of air needed to facilitate throughout the range, while maintaining a very nice core sound with amazing overtones. Comes with original case in immaculate condition!
